Note from me: I made this post on my Multiply and Friendster blogs just before Christmas. I forgot I have another blog to manage so I’m posting it here just now. Hehe..

The past few weeks since I lodged my permanent resident visa application, I’ve been really anxious to get a letter from the immigration department. And today, I got it!

Thank God! Akala ko aabutin ng 6-8 months (yun ang standard na sinasabi ng mga call center representatives sa immigration), buti na lang hindi. I remember when I got my spouse visa 2 years ago, I received it at this time of the year din, magpa-Pasko. What a lovely Christmas gift from papa Jesus.

On a completely different subject, heto pala handa namin from yesterday’s Christmas party with people from work:

After kumain, parang mejo nahilo ata ako. Nonetheless, it was really wonderful to just be with friends and simply celebrate Christmas (with or without lechon…pero mas masaya kung may lechon!Hehe..).

I’ve not spent a huge amount of time in the Philippines but its clear to me it’s a wonderful country.
